Do Better.  Be Better. That is my new motto! I love.it

Hello hello hello!

T-shirts! Okay so I keep forgetting to tell you but I decided what I want my conference t-shirt to say:
Do better. Be better. (President Nelson) haha I trust that it will look awesome!
And sis Daugherty wants "time is running out"
So yep!!

Wed: Brigham young
We had a Site coordinator meeting in the morning, and I was able to figure out what my many responsibilities are for the bakery. Fun stuff. It was also my second day on my period so I was feeling a little sick. Not a lot, just a little. So I took a nap at the site and then studied after haha. We were pretty slow, but when the people finally came we had some good tours! This week I've changed the way I study and the way I give tours and I love it!!! I'll tell you about it.
Then for dinner we had broccoli cheese soup from the crockpot. So good! Also we played some games with the seniors: cover your assets and pickleball! Way fun. I love hanging out with the seniors they crack me up.
Also as we came home we had a pie tin with a left over piece and no one wanted it so I decided to smash it in sister greens face. Super random but it was hilarious. Poor sister green!

Thur: cultural hall
We had mission training that morning and it was so cute becauase president lusvardi did the whole training on sis Lusvardi! Haha her birthday is this week and so he surprised her by training us on all the Christ like attributes using stories about sister lusvardi. So cute. She's amazing.
The Ypms arrived! Soon Nauvoo will be filled with music, singing and dancing even more than before!
I have a funny story about a grandpa to tell you on our call haha so don't let me forget.
Thay night for dinner we had Shepherds pie!

Fri: wagon
I love. Being on the wagon. Its so fun to tell people all about nauvoo and explain all the sites! Also i enjoy Cracking jokes to keep things interesting. The teamsters got a kick out of that. The other thing I loved about the wagon was Watching sis Daugherty grow to love it. We began the day with her saying things like "I don't want to do this" "you do it" "Its our turn again?" To by the end saying "I love this!" "I hope we serve here more often!" "The wagon is so fun!" Haha. It was pretty cool. Also amos, one of the horses is my new best bud. He was tired and fell asleep with his face on my chest haha. It was adorable.
That night we had meatloaf and potatoes! I was so proud of myself for making meatloaf haha. I've decided that I'm allowed to get married now cuz I've learned how to make food haha.

Sat: Heber C Kimball
Best tour of the day was to a couple that wanted to take their time. I would finish part of the tour in one room and begin to move to the next and they would linger and admire things in the room and ask questions and ponder. So cute! They had a special spirit about them. When we got upstairs I felt prompted to share Heber Cs story about plural marriage and bear my testimony about answers to prayers. The spirit was so strong. I know that what I was saying was what they needed to hear.
My district went to el Camino real again haha  it's like the only good place to eat around here that we can afford!
That night we had a meeting with the STLs about mission culture and how to prepare for the new sisters coming in! Such a good group of sisters we have here.

Sunday: bakery
I got to Lead the music at church on sunday! None of the songs were super familiar but at least I knew what to do/how to wave my arm. Haha
I also had an amazing Sacrament experience, id love to tell you about it  on the phone! It was very sweet.
All day i kept having Awesome gospel conversations and studies that matched my experience at church! Wow! I love how the spirit works that way.
I also spent some time reorganizing the bakery. I was tired of how people haven't been keeping it! I spent 30 minutes sorting through random things and fixing where they go. I also wrote down some bakery guidelines, so that the sisters who serve there can follow safe food handling. We had dinner with the rollins! They are such fun. And the food was way good too. (Food on fast Sunday always seems to be that way haha)
We ended the evening with an inspiring district council. We got our blankets and pillows, pilled in the back of our van and watched the sunset go down as we talked about loving God and loving our neighbor. Then we ended with a testimony meeting. It was very powerful. I love my district so much!!!

Mon: riser boot shop!
Okay so I think it's funny that you sent those videos of the kids on bikes (they are so good!) Because one of my favorite parts of the whole day is when we ride down the big hill on young street.  We race and zoom down so fast tears slide out of my eyes and my pioneer dress whips around and behind me haha. It's quite the site for people to see but it's so fun! And makes me feel excited for the day haha.
Also, Monday was awesome cuz I got to do a vignette.  But I got to perform for some people, performing as Christiana kull riser. I was able to tell her story and share her/My testimony. It was so tender. Also we got bored after listening to the piano guys for awhile so we made a piano guys song. You should check out our version haha it's the worst. I'm excited to send that to you! Haha im sure the kids will get a laugh out of it. Maybe the kids can make their own out of a piano guys song! That would be a fun thing to watch haha.
And plus also Dalva stroganoff for dinner. I keep telling you what we had for dinners cuz I am so proud of us haha.

Can't wait to talk to you guys!!!!

Love
Sis Bush
